About me
Christian Black has worked at Montana State University for over 15 years, where he built the GIS program from the ground up, growing it from a single role into a four-person team supporting campus-wide planning, facilities, and infrastructure projects. His work focuses on applying GIS to real-world operations, including capital planning, maintenance, utilities, and construction documentation. Christian specializes in turning spatial data into clear, defensible deliverables that support decision-making and communication between technical staff, designers, and contractors.
