About me
Jeff Hedstrom is a GIS Analyst & the Cadastral Framework Theme Lead at the Montana State Library (MSL). His primary focus at MSL includes maintaining the Cadastral and CadNSDI datasets within the MSDI framework. He also maintains metadata collections and GIS applications pertaining to his primary focus. He collaborates with other MSL geographic information staff or other local/state government GIS employees within his discipline to help solve complex geographic problems. Prior to joining the MSL team, he was the GIS Coordinator for the City of Great Falls for six years._x000D_
He has been a MAGIP member for over 15 years. He has served three terms on the MAGIP Board of Directors, from 2016-18 as the Professional Development Chair, 2020-23 as the Vice President-President and currently in his second year as Conference Liaison._x000D_
His educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Earth Sciences (concentrating in GIS) from Montana State University in 2012 and a Master of Professional Studies in Geographic Information Technology from Northeastern University in 2019.
