Nick Youngstrom is the Agency GIS Manager at the Montana Department of Natural Resources and Conservation (DNRC), where he leads a team of Enterprise GIS professionals who manage the agency's geospatial architecture, data services, and system integration. In this role, he oversees the implementation and modernization of enterprise platforms, including cloud-hosted GIS, to support DNRC’s mission and strategic goals. Partnering with program leaders, IT, and external stakeholders, Nick and his team drive initiatives that strengthen governance, improve data interoperability, and position DNRC to leverage emerging capabilities in analytics, automation, and next‑generation GIS technologies.
